A motorist was caught driving on the M6 at speeds exceeding 100mph.
Cumbria Roads Police stopped a vehicle on the M6 at Southwaite that was travelling at 110mph.
He was said to be "in a rush to collect some golfing equipment."
He has since been reported to the courts.
In a tweet they said: "The driver of this vehicle has been reported to court for driving at 110 miles per hour on the M6 at Southwaite. He was in a rush to collect some golfing equipment which he’d left at home."
