Looking after our mental wellbeing is more important than ever and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) has been marking Mental Health Awareness Week, which took place from May 18-22, by sharing useful information and advice.
The theme of the week was kindness. Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic NWAS has seen so many generous acts of kindness shown from colleagues, volunteers, patients as well as people and businesses across the community.
As a thank you, NWAS has been sharing stories of random acts of kindness on its social media pages throughout the week.
From collecting shopping for a colleague’s elderly family members, baking for their team or spreading positivity across the organisation, small acts make a huge difference.
Information on looking after your mental health and wellbeing can be found on the NHS Every Mind Matters web page.
