Coinciding with mental health week, Cavendish Nuclear is letting staff know about the resources and support available to them during the challenging coronavirus pandemic.

One of the company’s new resources to benefit the mental health and progression of their employees is a series of virtual learning sessions.

The sessions are designed to encourage healthy habits and effectiveness during lockdown. The business says it feels passionately about mental health awareness and a number of the leadership team stepped up to deliver the sessions, including director of programme management and project controls Kathryn Jones.

She said: “Through the discussions we are able to weave in our own reflections and experiences of dealing with change or building resilience to help one another.

“So I was not only teacher but pupil as I also learned some new ideas.”
