Somewhere over the rainbow the Keswick Hockey Club has gone to the dogs!

Dogs and the rainbow theme have been incorporated into a video thanking the NHS and key workers and urging people to raise money for the charity NHS Charities Together.

Coach and team captain Paul Sloan said the club uses NHS services throughout the season and has several key workers as members and players.

“This was a club initiative. We decided to make the video to pay tribute to the workers.

“As a club we are extremely grateful for everything key workers are doing, providing a huge part in the lives of our hockey family, relatives and friends – and that is not just during the hockey season.”

Adults, children and more than one dog got in on the act with a series of photos.

In keeping with the theme, harpist Saoirse Jennings-Adams provided a haunting version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow, in keeping with the rainbow theme of hope and thanks to the NHS.

Mr Sloan said: “We are not collecting money but are encouraging anyone who watches the video to contribute to NHS Charities Together.”
