A sign informing residents that a park has been closed until further notice has been thrown into a nearby bin by thugs.
Police attended Kie Park in Hensingham today (April 8) to find the "closed until further notice" sign had been shoved into one of the bins close by.
Officers have informed residents that the sign has now been reinstated and that it is not a valid excuse to say there was no visible sign when ignoring social distancing restrictions.
The force urged people to stay at home and save lives.
