Sashaying back into the world of pageants was a breeze for one very fabulous mum, who took home three titles from the UK finals.

33-year-old Claire Beeby was all-smiles in her return to pageanting after a five-year break, taking part in the Ms Galaxy UK Final – and being named First Runner-Up.

And if coming second in the competition wasn't enough, the glamorous mum-of-two wowed the judges with her modelling and cheery smile, taking home the titles of Ms Photogenic and Best in Swimwear – an award Claire has "wanted for years".

"To finally walk away with [Best in Swimwear] after having two babies really made me feel incredible," the Frizington woman said.

"I stood hand-in-hand with Danielle Latimer (who I have admired for years, and who I can now call a friend), and was announced as First Runner Up, which I can honestly say made me feel like a winner.

"Danielle is an incredible Queen and I know she’ll do amazing at the Galaxy Internationals."

Claire has over 10 years of pageant experience, previously competing in Miss Cumbria, Miss Galaxy England twice, Miss Intercontinental UK three times, Miss International UK and Miss Great Britain, and was over the moon to be back on stage.

She said: "I originally entered Ms Galaxy UK just to be back in the world of pageants, and to have a platform to help my local community and charities.

"So when it came to crowning – the part of a pageant I normally hate as it so tense – I found myself to be really calm and relaxed, and just loving being back on the Galaxy stage."

But it wasn't just Claire who loved every second.

"My eldest daughter Eleanor was in the audience with my mam, my best friends Natalie and Lisa, and Lisa's Mum – who said she had the best night of her life!"

The pageant star has already entered next year's competition, promising daughter Eleanor she'll bring home the crown.

But Claire has plenty lined up until then, being interviewed by The Pageant Project based in Australia, and taking part in Miles for Mind, organised by Miss Galaxy UK, Olivia McPike.

And once "life returns to normal", she will be getting out and about in the community, helping in any way she can.

She added: "I can’t thank all my friends and family enough for their support.

"And an especially big thank you to my sponsors Xtreme Fitness and Dr Sam Rigby Facial Aesthetics, who went above and beyond to have me competition ready.

"I definitely wouldn’t have placed so high if it wasn’t for all of their help with boosting my confidence and self belief."
