The NHS in north Cumbria is encouraging young people to use a new mobile app designed to provide assistance to those facing stress and anxiety during the coronavirus outbreak.

With the coronavirus pandemic causing widespread disruption to life across the county and beyond, the North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Trust is encouraging young people who may be experiencing stress and anxiety to download a new mobile app designed to help provide advice.

A spokesman for the trust said: “As a direct response to the Covid-19 crisis an app called ThinkNinja is being made freely available to all 10-18 year olds UK-wide for the duration of the crisis.

“In addition, ThinkNinja has been extensively updated with specific Covid-19 support content.

“The new content is designed to bring self-help knowledge and skills to children and young people who maybe experiencing increased anxiety and stress during the crisis.”
