A troop of brownies are delighted to have been selected to be part of the Co-op Local Community Fund.
The 1st Wetheral Brownies are continuing to raise money for their residential in Scotland where they will be able to continue to support young leaders who are the future of guiding.
A spokesman for the group said: “We’re really excited because this allows parents and members of the community to help us out at no cost to themselves.
“A portion of every Co-op brand purchase made by a member that chooses us as their local cause to support will be directly allocated to 1st Wetheral Brownies.
“Please share this with your family and friends if you can, to boost the opportunities which we can offer to our girls. “
