A dedicated help line has been set-up to support residents in a north Cumbrian town during the coronavirus outbreak.

Brampton Acting Together Group has launched a helpline that residents in Brampton and the surrounding area can ring if they need support during this time.

It is manned entirely by volunteers from the B.A.T Group and members of the public who want to help their community to get through the Covid-19 outbreak.

The help line is part of the town’s resilience marshal programme which seeks out and supports vulnerable people and those in isolation.

Volunteers can offer advice or assistance to anyone who needs it.

Anybody in the area who needs their help should call the phone line on 016977 3433
