A play area in Little Broughton has closed, in line with government advice on coronavirus.
The Welfare Field play area has been closed by the parish council.
Parish council clerk Becx Carter, made the announcement on Facebook. In the post she said: "In light of the government advice regarding the Covid-19 virus and the length of time it can remain active on surfaces, the children's play area on Welfare Field is closing. Notices will be going up in the coming days and the gates will be shut. On behalf of Broughton Parish Council I would asks you to respect this closure." The rest of the field will remain open for exercise.
