A West Cumbrian thief was tagged for four months and left with a hefty court bill.
Mark Ashley Wilkinson, 37, of Ullswater Road in Maryport, pleaded guilty to a string of thefts when he appeared at the magistrates court in Workington last week.
The court heard he stole: cash, a North Face jacket and tools to the value of £150, belonging to Joseph Redman in March; cash and Cosmetics to the value of £5, belonging to Janice Woods; a car radio, gym kit and work tools to the value of £500, belonging to Kelsey Parry; a Michael Kors Handbag of value unknown, belonging to Louis Davidson.
The three latter thefts were all committed in December.
Wilkinson will be subject to the four-month curfew between 7pm and 7am.
He must also take part in 10 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement days.
Wilkinson was order to pay compensation to each of his victims for the items stolen, including £200 to Mr Davidson.
He must also pay £85 costs and £90 victim surcharge, bringing the total bill to £1,030.
