An investigation has been launched after a chainsaw and a riffle have been stolen in Carlisle.
Officers are appealing for information after the items were stolen on Thursday 12 March.
It happened at Kingmoor Business Park between 8am and 10.30pm.
A spokesman from Cumbria police said: "We are investigating a theft from a vehicle, in which a firearm and a STIHL chainsaw was stolen in Carlisle.
"The firearm was a .25-06 Tikka bolt action rifle.
"It was taken from the parked vehicle of a licensed firearms holder on Kingmoor Business Park between 8am and 10.30pm on Thursday.
"We are seeking any information about any suspicious activity on Kingmoor Business Park during this time."
Officers are also looking for any information about the theft or any details about the current location of the firearm.
There is no perceived threat to the public.
