Carlisle Library will be taking visitors on journey through ancient Iran next week.
Next Saturday from 11am until 11.30, the library will host a talk organised by AWAZ Cumbria outlining ancient Persian new year’s traditions.
The free talk will explore Noruze - also spelled Nowruz, which is Persian new year.
It will also explain the story behind Haft-sin - a traditional way of celebrating the Persian new year.
