THE next annual walk from Workington to Keswick is set to take place in aid of worthy Cumbrian causes.
The 43rd Workington to Keswick walk is set to take place this year on Sunday March 15.
Participants decided to support the Calvert Trust, Maryport and Solway Sea Cadets and West Cumbria Carers.
Walkers are asked to raise a minimum of £40 with a target sponsorship of £80.
There are checkpoints along the route, which begins at Workington’s British Legion and ends at Crosthwaite Parish Rooms. The sponsored walk is not a race but there are winner’s categories.
Registration will take place at the British Legion from 7.30am to 8.30 but walkers are advised to pre-register.
