A YOUTH project has been celebrated for its achievements and work in the community.
The Phoenix Youth Project held its seventeenth annual general meeting at Cleator Moor Youth and Community Centre on Friday February 21.
Attendees celebrated the work of the youth project and its achievements over the past 12 months.
Copeland councillor Gwynneth Everett said: "It was a very well organised event with great interaction from the young people who clearly enjoy coming to the club."
Awards were handed out to students who had competed accredited awards throughout the last year including the Duke of Edinburgh and ASDAN awards.
And Luke Garner was hailed as the Phoenix Youth Project's member of the year.
The award was established in memory of founding trustee, Sheila Graham.
