Fifteen firefighters, alongside police officers and ambulance crews were this morning on the scene at the Wickes DIY store in Carlisle.

Wickes is located on Duke's Road just off Hardwicke Circus, close to Carlisle city centre.

"Three crews are in attendance: two from Carlisle, one from Penrith."

A spokeswoman for Story Contracting said: "We are undertaking an investigation at the moment.

"We reported it to the emergency services this morning.
