There are eight flood warnings in place across Cumbria this morning, as well as 13 flood alerts.
Flood warnings are in place from Carlisle along the Eden Valley to Appleby, as well as in the Penrith, Keswick and Cockermouth areas.
Flooding is expected in the Rickerby Park area of Carlisle until about 6pm today.
Flooding is also expected in the Armathwaite area, Eden Hall near Langwathby, Bolton south of Kirkby Thore and the Sands area of Appleby.
Flooding is also expected at Pooley Bridge, Keswick campsite and low-lying parts of the Cockermouth area.
