A HOLISTIC therapy business is offering free treatments for people who are struggling with their mental health.

Esk Holistic Therapies in Longtown is encouraging people to get in contact if they, or someone they know, could benefit from one of the many holistic treatments that they offer.

Kerry Dixon and Pauline Brown, the co-owners of the business, were drawn to offer the free treatments after the death of the former Love Island presenter Caroline Flack.

Kerry said: “I know mental health is an issue everywhere, all of the time, but I think when something so prolific like Caroline Flack committing suicide it brings everything to the forefront.

“If it helps even one of them just to feel a little bit better for a little while.”

They offer a range of treatments including reflexology and massages at the business.

It’s up to the individual to choose whatever they think they will benefit from the most.

There has been an enormous outpouring of support and appreciation on social media for what Esk Holistic Therapies is doing for local people.

“It’s people recommending somebody else to come forward for it which I think is lovely as well,” Kerry said.
