A 50-year-old man has been handed a suspended prison sentence for driving while disqualified.
Brian Dodds, of Croft Court, Wigton pleaded guilty to driving a blue Ford Transit on Victoria Place while disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence.
Dodds was committed to prison for 70 days suspended for 12 months.
He also must comply with the terms of curfew which starts at 7pm ending at midnight for 12 weeks.
Dodds was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and £122 to fund victim services. He has also been disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for 12 months.
