Break-in attempt: There was an attempted burglary at a Penrith store.
AN APPEAL'S been put out after a burglary attempt at a Penrith store.
The incident happened some time last weekend at Poppins, Paint and Wallpaper store in Middlegate.
A spokeswoman for Cumbria Police said: "There has been an attempted burglary at the store between Saturday 15 and Monday 17 February.
"Anybody with any information please contact PC2675 of Penrith Police, on 101 reference log 91 of February 17."
