Police are seeking information on an assault that took place at a property north of Longtown on Saturday.
The incident took place around 1am on Saturday, February 15, at an isolated property.
The owner of the property found two men in his garden.
Both men were in their early 20s - one was approximately 6ft tall and was wearing a grey hoody and jeans, the other was approximately 5ft 6 inches tall.
When the property owner challenged the men, one of them assaulted the owner which has resulted in bruising and swelling across his hand.
They are thought to have been driving a Transit Connect.
