THIEVES have taken a quantity of cash from a Carlisle bakery.
The burglary took place at Claire's Bakery on Warwick Road at about 9pm on Thursday.
A spokesman from Cumbria Police said: "The suspects have smashed a back window with a brick gaining access to the premises.
"Cash has been taken.
"No suspects have be identified at this stage.
"If anyone has any information regarding this incident or having seen anything can you please contact PC 2840 Forrest from Cumbria Police via 101."
