A man was raced to hospital after a three car crash on a busy Cumbrian road.
Police say the incident happened on the A596, near the Wigton and Silloth junctions at around 1.15pm today, Friday, February 14.
The accident involved a Kia, BMW and a Mini.
The road was blocked for a time causing tailbacks.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: "The driver of the mini a 64-year-old man from Silloth was taken to Cumberland infirmary Carlisle with injuries not believed to be serious.
"The driver of the BMW, a 25-year-old man from Carlisle was uninjured and the driver of the Kia, a 70-year-old from Wigton was also uninjured."
A spokeswoman for the North West Ambulance Service said an ambulance and senior clinician attended the scene.
