A Cockermouth man has pleaded guilty to resisting a police officer when he appeared at the magistrates' court in Workington on Friday.
John Stephen Ellis, 58, of Bellbrigg Lonning admitted resisting officer PC 2562 Watson in the execution of her duty.
The incident happened on August 2 in Cockermouth.
Magistrates ordered Ellis to pay a fine of £120, victim surcharge of £32 and £85 costs.
