ORGANISERS behind a popular city event have confirmed it will return this year.
Carlisle Comic Con was held at Richard Rose Central Academy on Victoria Place last March, and was attended by dozens of film, TV and superhero fans across the county and beyond.
Plans were later hatched for an autumn event to be held again at the school last September.
Despite adding a number of famous names from stage and screen, the September comic con was later cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
Now, its hoped by reverting back to the annual format that the comic con will be a success once again.
This year's day of action has been confirmed to take place on Saturday, June 6.
Those among the line-up will be revealed in due course..
Tickets start from £8 for adults and £4 for children.
