An engineering firm is celebrating welcoming three new members to its team.
Tweddle Engineering, in Kirkbride near Wigton, has appointed Jack Taylor, Simon Craib and Oliver Addison.
Jack Taylor, 25 from Workington, who joined Tweddle as a design engineer from PAR Systems said he was looking for a new challenge.
He said: “I am enjoying learning about a new industry and being part of an exciting expanding team."
Oliver Addison, 19, has entered the company as a trainee welder fabricator.
Oliver had previous work experience at DPD and attended Newman School and Carlisle College.
He said: “I applied to Tweddle Engineering as I wanted to widen my fabrication and welding skills.
"I am enjoying working at Tweddle Engineering as I am being taught new skills by my skilled colleagues."
Simon Craib, 27, previously worked at Tweddle Engineering’s sister company Cumbria Profiling Ltd, also based in Kirkbride.
Simon has made the transition to Tweddle Engineering to work as an engineering labourer.
He said: “I wanted to further my career and I am interested in learning more about welding and the skills involved.”
Joe Watson, managing director, said: “It’s great to have Oliver, Simon and Jack as part of the team.
"We are really pleased that they are enjoying their time with the firm.”
The firm manufactures and installs bespoke plant and equipment, including structural steelwork and pressure vessels.
