Young children will be given some free guidance this half term on how best to care for their pets.
National pet shop chain Pets at Home will be running free workshops in its Cumbria stores each day this February half term, designed for children aged between five and 11.
Catherine Gash, store manager at the Penrith branch, said: “Our free “My Pet Pals” workshops are a great way for parents and children to learn the importance of animal welfare and how we can all care for local wildlife.”
