Man fined after stealing razor blades from supermarket
Stealing five packets of razor blades from a supermarket has landed a man in court.
Mark Maguire, 46, of Woodhouse Road, indicated a plea of guilty to theft at West Cumbria Magistrates Court.
The court heard Maguire stole five packets of Lacura Razor Blades, worth £19.95, from Whitehaven's Aldi store on August 24 last year.
He was fined £40 and ordered to pay £19.95 in compensation, as well as £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
