Police hunt for burglar wearing pompom hat
A burglar wearing a dark coloured pompom hat is being sought by police.
The thief struck in the Howgill Street area of Whitehaven yesterday.
At about 12.15am it was reported that a man dressed in dark clothing, wearing a dark coloured pompom hat entered a flat on the street.
He stole a black parker jacket and around £15 in cash.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen suspicious behaviour in the area, or anyone with information to call PC 2763 on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting log 2 of the 15th January.
