Police have confirmed the body of a woman found on the shore of the Solway Firth has not been formally identified.
Officers from Police Scotland are currently working with Cumbria police to identify the woman, who was found close to Cummertrees on Saturday, January 11.
Police Scotland have said it could be a number weeks until the woman is formally identified as a result of the tests that need to be done.
