A Whitehaven woman has been banned from the roads for 14 months after being caught drink-driving.
Sarah Casson, 44, of Burton High Close, appeared before West Cumbrian Magistrates Court last Friday.
The court heard Casson was driving a Toyota Aygo on December 18 last year on the A597 at Salterbeck, Workington, when the incident occurred.
She was found to have 49mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
As well as the driving ban, Casson was also fined £180 and must pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
If she successfully completes a drink-driver rehabilitation course she could see her ban reduced by 14 weeks.
