An open day at Carlisle College will introduce young people to more than 100 courses that could be available to them.

The open evening on Thursday is an opportunity to find out more information about the options offered by the college.

The options range from apprenticeships to entry-level courses to diploma courses.

Andy Dodds, director at Carlisle College, said: “Students can really make it at Carlisle College. Whether that is to go to university, gain an apprenticeship or go into employment.

“All of the courses at Carlisle College prepare students for their next step and we would encourage everyone to come and find out what the College has to offer.”

During the evening, there will also be tours of the facilities at the college such as the art department and the vehicle testing workshop.

Staff will also be on hand to give more information about the courses on offer as well as to give advice on apprenticeships.

The open evening will be held between 4pm and 8pm on Thursday.
