A Keswick-based communications consultancy has been named as a Northern Powerhouse partner.

Zeitgeist Communication Ltd, which has also just launched an event management arm, is led by managing director Jutta Devenish.

She said: “It is a great privilege to have been named a Northern Powerhouse partner.

"We are committed to working closely with our clients and partners on driving business success and increased collaboration in the North.”

The consultancy works with organisations and businesses including Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster, the University of

Cumbria and the Carlisle-based World Health Innovation Summit.

Jake Berry, Northern Powerhouse minister, said: "Zeitgeist’s exceptional work creating thriving business

environments and improved educational opportunities means that they are well placed to help us deliver on this ambition and ensure that the Northern Powerhouse reaches its full economic potential."

John Grainger, executive director of Britain's Energy Coast Business Cluster, added: “We are delighted to see Zeitgeist Communication join the Northern Powerhouse.

"Their commitment to the region is built on international business knowhow, a strong work ethic and a unique ability to not only identify opportunities, but to draw partners together to work on these collaboratively – all of which is what the Northern Powerhouse is all about.”
