ROADWORKS: Plains Road in Wetheral Picture: Google Maps
A COUNTRY road linking Wetheral with the A69 is to close for three weeks.
A section of Plains Road in Wetheral will shut on Monday, January 6 to allow contractors T&K Gallagher to carry out utility works.
The road will be closed to the south east of its junction with the A69, which will extend in a south easterly direction.
An alternative route for drivers will be along Plains Road, Steele’s Bank and the A69.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
