An investigation has been launched after thieves raided a waterworks site.
High-value equipment was stolen between 2pm on Tuesday, December,10 and 8am Wednesday, December 11 at a site near Keswick.
A spokesman from Cumbria police said: "Plant machinery including a lightweight dosing trailer, containing chlorination pumps was stolen from the pipeline waterworks site near to the A591 at Keswick. This was housed in a Williams’s trailer with a fibreglass cover."
Anyone with information, or has been offered these items for sale is asked to call the police on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
