HUNDREDS of Cumbrian homes have been left without power after an outage.
637 customers of Electricity North West between Wigton and Aspatria are without supply, a representative of the supplier confirmed.
Homes of been affected by the power outage since 3.23pm this afternoon.
The representative for the supplier said: "It is a fault with an overhead line, staff are now on site and they are working hard to restore supplies as quickly as they can."
They explained that although Electricity North West cover the area, not every property is on the same network so some homes will not be affected.
Electricity North West were unable to give an estimate for when power will be restored at the time.
