FOLLOWING high demand tickets to see superstars of pop in Carlisle are now back on sale.

Little Mix announced they will return to Cumbria next year with a gig at Bitts Park on July 24 as part of a series of summer shows that also sees them performing at Hyde Park in London.

Due to increased popularity from fans, organisers launched a new limited edition range of tickets, priced from £39.50. They went on sale today at 9am.

Speaking about the summer 2020 tour, the group said: “Performing live is our favourite thing to do as a band, we love it.

“Our last Summer tour in 2018 was one of our favourites ever, so we can’t wait for some more brilliant outdoor shows next year. We want everyone to come party with us in the sunshine.”

The quartet - made up of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall - will perform some of their greatest hits including Woman Like Me, Shout Out to My Ex and Touch.

Liz Doogan-Hobbs MBE, CEO of LHG events, promoters for the Bitts Park concert, said: "The response to this concert has been phenomenal and there is high demand to see the girls in the summer.

"We have taken the decision to create a brand new Bronze ticket area with group tickets available.

"This gives fans plenty of choice when buying tickets for the Little Mix Summer 2020 Tour."

The girl band has sold more than 50 million records worldwide, amassed more than 17 million Spotify listeners, received more than three billion Youtube views, and 12 billion streams.

They have fully cemented their status as the world’s biggest girl band, with the quartet asserting dominance in the charts album after album.

Little Mix were last in Carlisle when they performed at Bitts Park in July 2017.
