A West Cumbrian charity are asking for the communities help in raising vital funds, and having some fun at the same time.
Hospice at Home West Cumbria have put together a fundraising Christmas jumper day pack, where organisations can pick a date in December, wear their best - or worst Christmas jumpers and do some fun activities throughout the day, raising money for the charity at the same time.
The idea is part of the charities Christmas fundraising campaign which they hope will raise funds to continue providing palliative and end of life care across West Cumbria.
Gemma Bell, Community Fundraiser for Hospice at Home West Cumbria said: "This is a great event that everyone can get involved in, whether it’s at your school, your local community group, or your workplace - just pick a day in December, wear your Christmas jumper and make a donation to Hospice at Home West Cumbria!"
Over 50 organisations have signed up to take part so far, including primary and secondary schools, estate agents, solicitors and nuclear agencies.
Groups taking part are encouraged to share their photographs on social media to help the charity raise awareness.
