TWO fire engines, police and ambulance crews were called to rescue a man who was trapped in a car after a crash.
Emergency services were called shortly after 9.30am today to the access road into Southwaite.
The man, 26, was driving a Suzuki Grand Vitara, with firefighters using stabilisation equipment and a triple extension ladder to release him from the car.
The injuries suffered were not life-threatening, said the force.
Firefighters were at the scene for about an hour.
