SENTENCE has been deferred on a teenager who acted aggressively while in possession of a backpack containing an axe.
Tyler Shepherd, 19, of Victoria Avenue, Annan, admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at nearby Butts Street in October.
Dumfries Sheriff Court was told Shepherd, who had little memory of the incident, had passed the backpack to someone else when police were called.
Sentence was deferred to December 17.
