A Workington man has pleaded guilty to five counts of having an out of control dog.
Stuart Nixon, 48, of Ribton House, Camerton, was handed a six month conditional discharge by Workington magistrates on Wednesday.
The court heard Nixon was the owner of a brown Border Collie which was dangerously out of control in Beckside, outside of Ribton House on or about July 12 and again on July 17, September 20 and on or about September 26.
Nixon also pleaded guilty to being the owner of an older black Border Collie which was also out of control on or about July 18 in the same location.
He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £21 victim surcharge.
