Two Carlisle-based surveyors have graduated to the next level of their careers.
Katie Proctor and Jonathan Hird, of H&H Land and Estates, have successfully completed their exams to become chartered members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Both graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc in rural enterprise and land management. They each spent their placement year working for H&H Land & Estates and, following completion of their degrees, both obtained full time positions with the company.
The pair have studied for two years for the internationally recognised qualification.
Katie said: “I am thrilled that I have achieved my MRICS professional status. Throughout both my placement year and while studying for my exams I received mentoring and advice from our professional teams. These have been key to helping me achieve this qualification.
“Now I will focus on further developing my professional experience and building upon my skills already gained here at H&H Land & Estates.”
Jonathan said: “Securing this professional qualification is for me a huge personal accomplishment.
“I have worked for the company for three years now and the experience I have gained has been invaluable. I am looking forward to building my career and gaining recognition within the industry.”
Colin Tomlinson, managing director of H&H Land & Estates, added: “They both started their careers with us, and it has been a privilege to watch them work their way up the professional ladder.
“Now they have completed their qualifications, I know that they will both start to forge out a professional path for themselves.”
