The charitable work of two women has been awarded in Brampton.
Violet Dobson and Jenny Wynn have been awarded the star knitter certificates by the Brampton Knit and Knatter Group.
They have been celebrated for their knitted contributions to charities across the world.
For the last three years, the pair have knitted everything from hats and cardigans to soft toys. Violet has knitted a vibrant hat every week which have been given out all over the world by the Seamen’s Mission.
Jenny has spent her time with the group turning donated bits of wool into baby blankets, cardigans, and soft toys which are then sold in aid of or donated to local charities.
