Police have made two arrests after a Carlisle man died yesterday.
A Cumbrian Police spokeswoman said: "A 44-year-old woman from Carlisle, and a 34-year-old man from Wigton were arrested on suspicion of suppling class A drugs and released under investigation.
"Police were called by NWAS to a report of concern for welfare of a man in the area of Charlotte Street, Carlisle at approximately 5pm yesterday.
"A 56-year-old man from Carlisle was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
"The man was later pronounced dead."
"There are no suspicious circumstances at this time."
