WHETHER you’re for Brexit, against it or just thoroughly confused with everything to do with the whole debate, it is undeniable that we’re living through a political shambles.
In fact - in the wake of the scenes in and around Parliament on Saturday - it would be fair to say that Britain must now be the laughing stock of the world.
We are supposed to be a superpower; one of the globe’s great nations.
Yet, here we find ourselves, in a deadlock that has essentially shown our Parliament to have become inefficient at best; incompetent at worst.
No-one seems willing to find the common ground and get this mess sorted it.
It’s time to put party interests to one side - surely - and get this situation (which we’re consistently reminded is the greatest crisis the nation has faced since World War Two) sorted before we start to pay an even heavier financial price.
