PEOPLE in Cumbria are being invited to take part in a special televised debate about diabetes.
Organised by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), Question Health will raise awareness of diabetes and the impact it has on diabetics and their loved ones.
The event will be hosted by Robert Nisbet, UCLan Leader in Residence and former Sky and BBC broadcaster, and is taking place on Thursday 14 November - World Diabetes Day - at the Lakes College in west Cumbria, starting at 5.30pm.
The panel of experts will consist of local health care clinicians, UCLan medical academics, diabetes specialists and a diagnosed diabetic. They are: Jamie Reed, Dr Rahul Thakur-Mackenzie, Professor Jaipaul Singh and Professor Rajbhandari Satyan.
