A group of Whitehaven fundraisers believe they have raised thousands for various local charities.
Thirteen members of the Together We Can Fundraising Team trekked the Yorkshire Three Peaks recently, raising money for Blue Sky Trust Cumbria, Always Another Way, Calderwood House, Safety Net (UK) and Rosehill Youth Theatre and The Solway Hall.
Julianne Kelly, who runs the fundraising business, said the trek is an annual event “and this year it went very well. We are grateful to sponsors trek company Adventure Trails, G & M Supplies, Alpacaly Ever After, Unite the Union Sellafield Branch, Clever Tutors and Together We Can Fundraising.”
