Carlisle accountancy firm MoynanSmith has appointed two new members of staff.
Hannah Ling joins the business as a tax adviser and Graham Simmons as an accounts and payroll assistant.
MoynanSmith Chartered Accountants, based at Pacific House in Kingstown, was founded in 2015 by Darren Moynan and Jamie Smith.
Hannah, 33, joins the business with more than 11 years’ experience.
Hannah, who is returning to work from maternity leave, said: “I have known Darren and Jamie for a number of years, and after chatting with them I felt MoynanSmith was the right fit for me, and that I was the right person for them and their clients.”
Director and founding partner Darren said: “Having previously worked with Hannah, I know the level of care and service that she provides will be a benefit to MoynanSmith and more importantly, our clients.”
Graham, 36, has joined the accounts team after 12 years at Marks & Spencer, based in Carlisle.
Graham said: “I wanted to move into practice to further increase my knowledge and experience within the accountancy profession."
Jamie, director and founding partner at MoynanSmith, added: “Graham has really hit the ground running.
"He has already proved a big help to the accounts and payroll department, which ultimately helps us help our clients."
Chartered accountant Andrew Storey joined the firm last year, along with accounts and payroll assistant Stacey Donnelly.
