A 22-YEAR-OLD Penrith man was given a four week curfew and ordered to pay £170 after he was found in possession of a Class B drug.
Adam Bradley Noble was found in possession of mephedrone, which has a street name of 'M-CAT' and 'meow meow', on March 23.
He pleaded guilty to the charge before Carlisle's magistrates' court on Tuesday.
Noble, who lives in the village of Culgaith east of Penrith, was given a four week curfew requiring him to stay at his home address between the hours of 8pm and 7am daily.
His community order also requires him to take part in a rehabilitation activity requirement.
The court ordered him to pay an £85 surcharge to fund victim services and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
