AWARDS: High sheriff Marcia Reid Fotheringham
NOMINATIONS are being sought to honour the efforts of unsung heroes in Cumbria.
The county’s High Sheriff Marcia Reid Fotheringham will make a special award to one such hero or group at the forthcoming Cumbria Neighbourhood Watch Association’s AGM Conference in Carlisle on Thursday November 14.
The association’s Joe Murray said: “I believe there are many people, both individual and groups, around the county who do a huge amount of work for their communities that often goes unnoticed.” Mr Murray wants to hear about potential candidates.
